Temple square

 

On Friday we went to SLC to go to temple square and the new city creek mall. I needed to get out and do something fun, so off we went. All 3 kids in tow and Lisa came with her new little guy Kaden. We parked walked around the mall. The kids loved all of the water features they have up there it was a bit tricky to keep them from getting wet, seeing that it was only 55 degrees out probably wouldn't have been fun once they got wet.  Then did some shopping in the Disney store...every item in there is a complete rip off... that's okay tho its where dreams come true right...? then had some lunch and walked around temple square. I am so grateful for temples and that we have so many within driving distance. Living here in Utah we truly are so blessed to have so many temples that are close by. The flowers smelled amazing! I love going there in the spring!  We had fun and I know the kids love going out and about exploring and doing something new every so often.

I can't believe it! My baby Whitney is already 11 months old! She is just beginning to walk around more and more and getting more daring about it. I love her bright smile on her face when she takes a few steps and gets to her destination without falling. She is our little ray of sunshine in our house! She has been sick the last two weeks and today she was finally feeling better yay! I hate it when my babies are sick! I love how chubby she is, and her cute rolls on her legs and tummy. She laughs and loves daddy, Trevor , mommy and Grandma Schumann the most. She will often stop and lay her head on our laps when she is busy playing as if she was trying to say hi i love you. She has such a sweet spirit. She is very, very busy as well. Church is becoming a challenge and since both Jake and I are sunbeam teachers we come home totally worn out! She is into everything! She will eat everything! And she just loves to be where everyone else is. We love this happy little girl so much! Happy 11 month old mark baby!

kite boarding

Kite board season is in full force for Jacob. He loves kite boarding and he is really good at it. His spot he likes to go to is lincoln beach Utah Lake and south sandy beach utah lake. I personally prefer south sandy beach because the kids enjoy it and I don't have to worry about rocks and stuff. I am so glad Jake has an outlet where he can destress and have so much fun! Maybe one day I will give it a go, that is if there is ever a day when I am not pregnant or have a newborn.

Conference weekend

I feel a new tradition in our small family coming on. Planting our garden during spring general conference. weather permitting of course but so exciting to plant food for our family!!! I am so grateful we have the yard and space to do so! I am so thankful for Jacobs hard work and for the spirit that fills us while listening to our leaders!!!

Easter at the Schumann family. We had almost everyone there and it was a good time. We had amazing weather which seems like a first for Easter! The kids had fun playing with cousins, hunting for eggs and having a tasty dinner! I am so thankful for my family and so happy for this time of year what a blessing to know that our Savior lives!!

         Egg hunt at the park on Saturday with ward friends. Trevor with his buddies Boston and KJ. Trevor taking Whitney down the slide which she loved and they had a blast egg hunting with all of the neighborhood friends. its good to get out on a beautiful day! We have been loving our spring weather!
